Trudi trained in classical ballet and completed her RAD Advanced before being introduced to contemporary dance at Victoria University where she completed a BA in Performance Studies. She began her teaching career at Dancehouse in Melbourne and undertook further training in contemporary dance teaching at the Victorian College of the Arts. Trudi is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Dance’s CBTS (Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies) and has an Advanced Diploma in Yoga Teaching from the Australian Yoga Academy. She also founded Trudi Schneider Ballet, now Geelong School of Adult Ballet, in 2021.

Trudi loves sharing her passion for dance with students of all ages and particularly enjoys helping students prepare for their examinations.

Oskar Hindson - Co-director

Oskar began his ballet training at the age of eight in Melbourne and went on to complete all Royal Academy of Dance Vocational Examinations, achieving distinction in Advanced 2. He also completed the VCE VET Dance program, and co-choreographed Geelong High School’s 2022 production of Guys and Dolls. After many years of training, Oskar discovered that his passion lies in teaching. He has completed the RAD’s “Certificate in Dance Teaching (Ballet)” course, is a current registered teacher with the RAD and has a wide range of knowledge of RAD syllabi. Oskar is also director of Geelong School of Adult Ballet, established in 2021.

Oskar loves sharing his knowledge of ballet with all students and inspiring them to achieve their very best.
